7" Android PC 2.2 WIFI Netbook

I have just purchased a 7" Android PC 2.2 WIFI Netbook.
When I try to down load any apps it always comes up with not a Android phone.
How do I get around this problem.
I really need word, excel and power point for my daughter.

You will probably have to find a different app store to get programs. Amazon's market works, so does appslib, apkshare,AndroidPit,Slideme. You would need the APK install.

I've got the Coby Kyros 7024 and had to do a lot of digging for some apps I wanted.

Kind of a long drawn out process, but you could in theory (if you have access to an android phone) use an app like AppMonster to back up the .apk to the SD card, and then email it or transfer it to your netbook somehow. I would *assume* that would work?
