Help 720p video sucks

Are there any special settings I should have when recording in 720p? every time I take video then play it back on my pc its super choppy and the video skips all over the place. the audio seems to be fine (LOL) but the video is unwatchable. should i just go back to the regular resolution? any one else have this problem?

Is the computer very old? When I send larger quality videos like 720p to people with old computers it just cant handle it and is often slow and choppy.

yeah ive noticed the same thing, older computers (most P4 cpu's or older) cant handle 720P it could also be your display driver/graphics card

well how come its choppy when I playback on the phone? I have a Sony Vaio running vista.
i'm going back to WVGA, I guess 720p just isnt for me.

My 720 works and looks great, both on the phone and on my MacBook Pro. I'm impressed with it. Just wish we could upload to Picasa or Facebook like we can with stills.
