Help *#*#7594#*#* Code Didn´t Work, Why?

Hi Everyone,
I tried this code *#*#7594#*#* to Change Power button behavior but it didn´t work. I am on Lollipop. I read that it was a general Android code, does anyone know why it didn´t work or another code that works? Thanks in advance. :p
 
There are very few universal secret codes that will work with every phone, there simply are too many different hardware configurations in different models of different brands. The codes are more hardware/firmware based so Lollipop isn't the issue. You could try experimenting by eliminating some of those symbolic characters but it's really, really important to keep in mind these codes can alter a lot of lower level things on your phone, including wiping the user partition (your data). If you got your info from a site that said that code works on all phones, stop relying on that site as its author has questionable validity. Best to avoid anything saying '...these will work on everything...' and find a source specifically referencing your phone.

Thanks for your answer. I thought it would work because it said it was common android codes which I understood as universal (correct me if I'm wrong) . So I guess universal codes don´t exist, right?
 
No such thing as "a standard universal code",

they are unique for each firmware coding, even on the same phone.

you must know the Carrier and the exact firmware before you go pushing those buttons.
