howdy! i havent posted in the intros for a while so i think it would be a grand idea to set some of my OWN experiences with android so you can get the most out of android.
you will hear words about gaining root user permissions. this is similar to "jailbreaking" on ios and similar to "administrator" on windows.
Im sure your wondering "wait, its my phone! Arent I the administrator??" and the answer is yes, but no. You have control of what is put onto your device, but you cannot touch system files.
In my experience there is no reason to root. And I will not go too into depth with it, but ive been finding ways around needing to root with most of the additions that come with rooting. but if you choose to, thats your decision
