Help Permanently disable Google Voice on Y300?

I have an Ascend Y300. I bought it to use while my Samsung main phone was down. Now that the latter is repaired, I primarily use the as a big MP3 player which I connect to my car's stereo.

What is really infuriating is that constantly the music is interrupted by Google Voice starting - presumably as a response to the music. I really want to disable it or rip it out, but it does not show as a standalone app to uninstall. How can I stop it? Have tried to uninstall lots of Google associated apps but nothing has worked. It makes the handset useless as an MP3 player. If someone can tell me how to do this it would be really helpful.

Use App manager to Disable and Force Stop apps that cannot be uninstalled. I am not sure if this will also affect Google Voice. I am also using NoRoot Firewall to control some apps with but, like you, I haven't seen anywhere to disable Voice. If anyone has found a solution, please post it here

I have also disabled and ForceStop-ped Huawei Input Manager. If I have problems, I will report here.

I have just solved this annoying problem. I had been using regular stereo earbuds with my Y300 and was constantly having this problem. I just bought a pair of earbuds with a microphone and I no longer get the "Say call..." crap. When using regular stereo earbuds or a stereo cable, the microphone input is grounded (connected to the common sleeve conductor of the mini phone plug) and it seems that this is what's causing the problem. In order to use regular stereo earbuds, I am going to make a small adapter using a short piece of 3 conductor cable, a 4 conductor mini phone plug and an in-line 3 conductor stereo mini jack. On the plug of this adapter I won't connect anything to the 2nd ring (microphone input) and this should work. You could make any length of cable the same way, using 2 plugs. The 4 conductor plug has a tip, two rings and the sleeve. The tip is left audio, the 1st ring is right audio, the 2nd ring is microphone and the sleeve is ground (common). I have read that people are having the same problem with other android phones.
