88 hours on a single charge

Last week I upgraded from my Thunderbolt to the Maxx HD. Let me first say that so far I am really loving this phone. Especially the battery.

I have been off work this week and spent the last 4 days painting the exterior of my house. My phone was fully charged when I started and has had VERY LITTLE use over the past 4 days. Most of this time the phone was on wifi, I have checked email 10 or so times a day and exchanged a few texts. I also logged 2 hours 45 minutes worth of calls and spent some time online.

I just plugged it into the charger. Here's a screen shot of the battery usage since my last charge. I think its pretty amazing.

Low screen usage is the big factor here.

I would agree, voice calls is up there near the top tho. Being on wifi also helps make the phone last longer.

Even still, that same use my older phones wouldnt have made it that long. I might could get 1-2 days all wifi and lil calls, stock battery. I wish companies could make a large removable battery this skinny. Phone makers would have to start redesigning their phones internally tho.

I lose about 15% an hour on low to moderate use. I'm not impressed. Yes, I sync everything and I don't shut off gps. A "smart phone" without sync and gps isn't worth a data plan imo. I ran everything the same on my tbolt with extended battery and got better battery life.

You are doing something wrong. Check it again

So, in 4 hours down to 40%?? Gotta agree, something is wrong... Mine is set up similarly and I get MUCH better battery life. Check it out at store and swap maybe...

I leave on wi-fi, data and synch everything. I usually get 15+ hours and have 67-70% of my battery left before charging at night. With the same basic usage, the RAZR would get about 9 hours on a charge and the battery would need charging.

Agree with jwbeeler. I don't turn anything off, use the phone like always and still have 50-60% when putting it on the charger for the night.

The Galaxy Nexus would have been dead after 6 hours with the same kind of usage.

No worrying about screen brightness or how much I can use it. Signal strength and cell radios are exceptional. The camera ain't much but works well enough when you need to take a pic. It's not a Nikon.
