Help 99+% CPU load all the time. Battery literally draining. Please help.

Just today my g3 started getting really hot and the battery is literally draining. Not staying on one percentage for more than two minutes. CPU load is at 90-97 percent all the time, Superuser said an app called app user [UID] was constantly asking for root permission. Phone shows battery usage is completely normal: http://imgur.com/gKF76KS I downloaded greenify and there's absolutely no unusually running app. Everything is exactly how it was before this and I uninstalled three apps that I installed last week but this just started today. I wiped system cache but no luck. I really do not want to factory reset can anyone tell me what the problem is?

I should note I am running only reddit sync and a few background processes, the phone is plugged in now and is still draining.

Also, when i download a new app, it'll stop at a high percentage for almost a minute before proceeding to download the rest of the app.

Stock 4.4.2 rom Verizon G3.

Idea one: Reflash the stock ROM. It wont wipe your phone, but it will remove all user installed system apps. Like SuperSU for example. Just search the internet for "LG G3 Verizon Stock ROM" and there will be at least one result. If you can find it, I have the stock AT&T one.

Idea one point five: Flash a stock based ROM.

Idea two: Underclock the phone. This will save battery.

Idea three: Download every battery saving app on the Google Play Store.
