Hackers can get paid a lot of money for vulnerability bounties from big multi-million dollar companies. You just don't normally expect 10-year-olds to answer those bounties.
A 10-year-old boy named Jani is said to have found an exploit in Instagram's code that let anyone delete any comment. After demonstrating the hack, Facebook then gave the kid $10,000 as part of the company's bug bounty program.
