A better Calendar app?

The stock Calendar on my AT&T GS3 isn't to my liking. Although it syncs with my Google account just fine, I don't care for the UI. I liked the one from my Captivate better.

I had a quick look around the Google Play store and I didn't find a normal Google Calendar app, to my surprise.

I use Google Calendar across my devices and would enjoy that same experience on my phone too.

Suggestions? Free is best!

Try Jorte, syncs with google calendar, free if I remember correctly.

For business specifically I don't know but I discovered Touch Calender months ago and love it!! It also syncs with every calender like Gmail, PC and even the Samsung one. I got the paid version after reading the reviews vs the free one.

The scope of this app is rely huge. Over all it is one of the best on the marked. The sync with Google and special the sync with Google Todo which both work perfect. But there is one point which is for me a killer criteria and which is the reason for only 3 stars. This is the search function. Frequently I need to search for a meeting. But when I enter a search string (a proved one in Google calendar and / or Google Todo) (menu button --> more --> search), then Jorte will provide a list with almost all items in my calendar. But unfortunately it does not do any filtering. Which in my eyes, is useless. I am not sure, maybe this works only in the premium version. I googeld around about this. But with no success. It seems that I am the only one who has this problem. A possible workaround would be if it would be possible to chose Jore as a searchable item in Google search like GTask, on my new Samsung S3. But this is as well not possible. So here is my suggestion to the developer of the app. If eater the internal search or the adding as searchable item in next versions will be included then I can easily vote for 5 stars.

I loved the Calendar on HTC phones, far better imo than the stock one on my SIII.
Can anyone recommend me one that's similar to HTC's ?
I wanted to set a reminder last night for today but when I clicked on todays date I got a different view than I normally get because it said today was "battle of the boyne day".
I set my reminder but it didn't alert me like it normally does.

Business Calander is what I use and love it, looks just like I cal, and is very customizable from colors to layout. Free and paid versions.

I use Touch Calendar (the paid version), and it's everything I could ask for. It syncs automatically with Google calendar.

Android Pro Widgets. The default theme is similar to the HTC agenda/calender.
