A few annoying things (Help?)

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but here's two annoying things regarding my new S3:

1) When I close all the web pages in the stock browser, it goes to a screen that says "about:blank" instead of the URL (google) I have set as a home screen (This worked on the D2). In fact, I don't even know how to go to the "home page" without typing it in to the URL box, so what's the point of even having a function to "set home page"?

2) Text autocorrect acts funny. For instance, let's say I type in 'Why' and hit a space. And then I go back to change 'Why' to 'Where." Well when i delete the 'y' and start to type the 'er' in 'where' the autocorrect recommends 'error'. And if I select it, it makes the word 'Werror'.

1) You get that blank page when you close all the browser windows. If you hit the + sign at the top, it will take you to your home page. Then you can close the blank page and leave your home page up. Or navigate to another favorite. Hitting the numbered window icon besides the favorites star brings up all your open pages. It's a little different, you just have to get used tot he way thhis phone navigates.

2) Much has been said about the shortcomings of the standard keyboard; most folks have simply found different keyboards to install that they like better. Personally, I installed Swype Beta and love it. Just find one that performs the way you want it to.
