A Few Hopefully Minor Issues with Notifications

I love the notification I get with this phone for texts that I receive, but I hate the callendar date and VM notifications. For the texts, I get I nice loud sound, and then it beeps every few minutes. Doesn't do that for the calendar dates and VM. I get a very mild cute tone, and then nothing. It's actually caused me to miss appointments because I got so used to that with the iphone4.

I still like this phone way better though.

You can change the default notification sounds in menu>settings>sounds or you can assign individual notification tones within the the apps. As for a repeating notification for the calendar or VM, the default apps don't offer that. You have find an app that will do that for you. I don't use that so I can't really recommend any. You might want to ask a larger audience in Android Applications Forum.
