Root A few minor problems!

Hello, first of all I'm using the forums phone app to type this so I apologize for the format of my post. So far I like this phone and the ROM (Party time). However, I have two small problems.

1. My WiFi keeps turning itself on even when I have it disabled. How can I make my WiFi stop turning on randomly on its own?

2. I'm getting a update notification and want to disable that from popping up. How can I do that?


I just upgraded from the prevail ctmod and this phone is awesome. I have so much more space for apps on this phone. Thanks guys!

Thanks for the reply. Could you be more specific when you say data settings? I can't find anywhere to disable the connection manager.

I don't get that option. The only option there is mobile data network and if I uncheck that my 3G goes away.

Odd that you can't find it...

BUT you could just use a file explorer with root access, navigate to system/app, rename ConnectionManager.apk to ConnectionManager.apk.bak and restart
