Help A few questions from a novice

Hi folks
Got a galaxy europa the other day, tho I still have some questions that I cant seem to find any answers on via its documentation or online.

Is it possible to have SMS acknowledgement notifications?
What i mean is, when I send an sms to somone and their phone is on and they recive the sms, I will get a messege back saying that the sms has been sent and received.

Regarding ringtones.... I have loaded in a few ringtones of my own via the usb cable.. the ringtones (mp3s) are listed in "my files in /folder_where_the_mp3's_are ... I can see the newly loaded ringtones also when choosing a "ringtone" in the phone settings.. however these new ringtones are not listed in "notification ringtones" list... is it possible to have theses sounds listed in there so i can use custom sounds for notifications... in addition, is there a way to list/use custom sounds for the phone alarm.

A final question, I see i can edit the volume for ringtones, media and alarm.. however is there a way to reduce the volume for notifications, for example the sounds playing when i get an sms are a little too loud for my liking. ... while im on this subject what is "system volume"? i assume this is a global volume that will effect all the previous individual volumes.

anyway, some advice would be great :)

regards

Hey there, I think the answer to your first Q is no but I could very well be wrong. I've been tinkering with the phone for the last few days and haven't seen an option for it.

There is probably an alarm app that will allow you to use custom sounds as the alarm ringtone but using the given ''clock'' alarm there is no possibly way of changing the tone.

I think the notification volume falls under system volume but I'm new to this as well so I'm not 100% certain but I have it up to maximum anyways. :P
If I'm wrong then what you said about the system volume affectng all of the other volume settings in the phone is probable!
I hope this helped somewhat :)
