These are just a few ways too Help with those struggling with low memory and have not rooted their phone.
1. From Settings, go to Accounts and Sync. Uncheck "Auto-sync"
2a.)After setting up your google account with your phone log on via phone and log in to your google play account. Press the Menu button located to the left of the home button. From there hit Setting. Then select and change the "Auto-update apps" to "Do not auto-update apps" - this is to slow down google who will update by itself ( Books, Music, Maps, Gmail, Talk, Calendar, Calender Sync, Google Contacts + Sync, Movies and Street View) just to name a few.
2b.)Doing this will allow you to uninstall updates that google forces on your phone and reducing memory. Uninstall updates for all mentioned above through Settings, then Applications, Under the "All" Tab. Then Force stop the applications. Preventing them from downloading and remaining active in background.
***You will have to repeat 2b.) every time you restart your phone***
3a.) From google play download "Android Assistant", "Launcher Pro", "Adobe Air".
3b.) Settings>Applications> then Select "Manage Apps" click on each app and select option to move the applications to SD card except for Android Assistant. Hit the back button and change the "Preferred Installed Location" to your SD card.
3c.) repeat 2b.) to get to "All" tab, Go to "HUAWEI Launcher", Clear Data, and then Force stop. ** add to list of programs you will have to force stop if you restart your phone.
These are just a few tips for those who are hesitant on the root for this phone. Let me know if there are any Q's.
