A free remote desktop app?

[Tosh414]

Hi, I still don't own a smartphone with Android, so I want to know if there is any free remote desktop application for Android?
The only thing I need this phone for is to use remote desktop. What are the cheapest Android smartphones (touch screen) that allows me to do this?

Appreciated

Thanks. And just about any smartphone will run it well, or cheap smartphones may get very slow?
