A genuine question from a newbie developer

Friends,
i've just started working on my my app n it's about to finish. Now i'm thinking of monetizing it. With loads of Ad networks present out there, i'm a bit confused, which ad network should i opt n how much would the ad network charge etc
i'd like ur help.

Google analytics is the big and easy one to work with.. I've done work with them. Low payout but get enough ppl on your app you can make bank.
 
I'm personally using AdMob for displaying advertising in my apps. The company behind AdMob was bought by Google some time ago and will be merged to Google Adsense over the time. There is also good documentation available on how to implement the ads. A quick google search should give you the information you need.

EDIT: If you want to advertise your app instead of EARNING money WITH your app, you can also do this with AdMob.
