Some of you may have read my posts in the troubleshooting sections regarding the problems I've had with my Droid X. Here they are:
Dead pixel
Crappy battery life
Wifi network crashes
Well, everything has been resolved and I could not be more pleased with my Droid.
The dead pixel issue was resolved when VZ sent me a new phone yesterday. And I must add that the new phone is even faster than the first - not sure why but I'm beginning to think there must have been a serious issue with the 1st phone.
Battery life: I let my battery drain to zero and I removed all of the social media/social networking apps and this had an amazing impact on battery life. Before I could only go 4 or 5 hours of light use before the device drained and now I can go more than all day with moderate to heavy use and I still have more than 1/2 the battery life.
Wifi issue: it was as simple as a setting in the advanced section (Thanks again MacII) and this cleared up everything.
I really like, no, love this phone. It was a tough decision stepping away from my iphone but now that I'm on board and I have a phone that works I could not be happier.
If you are having battery or other probelms with your phone it's probably not related to the hardware itself - its either a bad battery, a power draining app or a setting causing you grief.
