Root A lot of Root/Connection/Driver problems

This phone is driving me crazy lately.
Ever since I've updated it to 4.4.2, it's impossible to do anything with him.
First, I can't root it. It took me a week to realise Towelroot roots the phone untill I reboot it. I never checked does it actually root it.
Okay, then I downloaded load of software (probably every single root app that exists on the interwebs). Not a single one doesn't want to recognize my phone.
Fine, then I downloaded USBDriverTool, and another realisation: I can't install ADB drivers. (I supose it's because I have x64 windows 8).
And lastly, when I try to change USB connection method, it's ALWAYS LG software, even tho I select something else, it keeps giving me "LG software" option.

I tried with Ubuntu, no luck.
Even with Windows 7 x86, still can't force it to use MTP or PTP.
Last thing I wanted to do is to open a new thread, but, I have no idea what to do from this point. I tried everything.
EDIT: missing info
LG-D505
And even if the phone is not plugged in, when I try to select someting else as a USB connection method, it says "ATS Mode Enabled for developing"

I figured out how to fix some problems: master reset.
Now I have only 1 problem:
ADB connection seems to be working fine, untill I go to recovery, where I select to download stuff using ADB. Then my PC loses his mind and won't recognize my phone.
Yes, I've tried going to device manager and trying to update driver and selecting "Have disk" but still no luck. It says it's not supported by OS (windows 8.1 x64, nor 7 x64 works).
Not sure will x32 distribution work or not, but is there any solution?
Not a single solution from google helped.
