Help A lot of video and website incompatibilities

I have a Galaxy Tab S 10.1 and I've run into numerous issues where videos won't play, websites won't display properly and stuff like google maps works very poorly. Is there a plugin or something I am missing that would remedy this. I keep all the software up to date and have chrome and firefox. On my desktop I use Linux Mint and am at the point that I am investigating installing Ubuntu Touch on it.
 
Don't know about Google maps, but I wonder whether your problems video/website problems might be connected to Flash, which isn't really supported by Android any more. There is a way of getting flash to work with Dolphin browser, so you could investigate that.

If the "not displaying properly" problem with websites is not flash-related, have you tried asking for the desktop version of the site? I don't know Chrome, but Firefox has this as an option.
 
Some examples:
I go to this site http://www.sfdebris.com/
and none of the videos work on either firefox or chrome. On firefox it says need plugin but gives me no information on what I need.
Youtube and many others work so I don't think it is a flash issue.

I had a webinar last week where the slides would not show.

Google maps on Chrome does not scroll well. It doesn't seem to load

When I go to yahoo the check my mail it suggests I get an app when I say no go to mobile site I get stuck in a loop that keeps sending me back to the dowload app page.

I just keep running into these problems and wish I could just put Linux on the thing as I rarely ever have issues with Linux Mint and it works mostly right after install. I am just shocked to have these many problems as Android is a major operating system and to me seems inferior.
 
The site you linked requires flash so you need to use dolphin browser, Dolphin Jetpack and a modded version of flash to view it (check the link Hadron gave you)
