Help A Miracle Cure for Battery Woes?

Recently I went through a 3-4 week period of time where, despite having a new battery and even a replacement phone, I could only get a few hours of life out of my phone. I recently posted about this issue. The drain occurred only while connected to VZW's network.

After receiving a replacement phone and even a replacement sim card, the problem persisted.

Earlier this week I was talking to VZW tech support to get another replacement phone, when the tech recommended "disconnecting" my phone from VZW's network and "refreshing the network connection" on their end. It took five minutes for her to complete the "reboot" of the network.

The next day, despite being off of wi-fi most of the day, and with no change in use or other changes to my phone, I got more than 17 hours of time. Yesterday I got 18 hours.

Has anyone had anything close to a similar experience?

Before and after shots attached.

Wow! That's very impressive. I've never heard of anything like what you've described, nor can I imagine exactly what the rep did to so dramatically affect your network connection, but it's obvious something clicked! Can you perhaps give us more details about your conversation with the VZW rep? If others are experiencing an issue like yours, this process might be beneficial to them as well.

Sorry I don't have more details. The fact is I wasn't paying much attention to what she was saying because I had precisely zero belief that what she intended to do would work.

I actually tried to get a hold of the rep who helped me to see if I could get a better answer. Will for sure post more information if I catch her.

Essentially, the problem was on VZW's end. She had me power off for about five minutes while she reset the network connection. After a reboot, problem solved.
