A new phone yet again

I was surprised by the gift of a Moto G 2026. My benefactor realized too late...no receipt. I went back to the Cricket store and the salesperson said that they never do that physically and anyway the printer was broken but may be fixed tomorrow. I at last managed to get a sticky note out of her, unsigned, with only gueestimates as to time and such. Isn't there a way to obtain a more formal version? Meanwhile, I found a couple of reviews, one more enthusiatic than the other, and some specs but I don't know if it can handle a terabyte (or more) sd. Who has had some experience with this particular model?

If I dismount the sd card, is it ok to try to remove it with the phone on because the side buttons don't work? My only other "reasonable" option would be to shut it off via the pulldown screen and then how would I get it on again? I have been rebooting that way but I suppose it could fry the card. I want to take the sd out (portable storage) from the Moto G Stylus and use it in the new Moto G 2026.

Here's the latest. I found out that no wall wart was included. I went to the Cricket store and finally got my point across, only to be told that it isn't being done any more. There were some hanging on the wall for the bargain price of $33.99. Presumably tax would be extra. I checked another store with no luck. At last I found it at a hole in the wall for $4.99 all told. You're probably wondering why I didn't just grab what I already had. The answer is that it didn't fit any of them. This weird cord, instead of having a big end and a small one, has equal ends. I got it charged and eventually looked for the phone number. I could not locate it. Neither was there any sim card. When I returned to Cricket, I was told it was esim. "Fake", I said. "Real", she countered. Ok, but there's no little piece of plastic then. At length she claimed that it was some qr code that I must have destroyed while I was "fooling around" with the phone. The other ditz lied that she had written the number on the "receipt", a hastily scrawled sticky note on which she had guesstimated when the phone was bought, price, etc., but no phone number. It ended with ditz #2 trying to sell me a new line for as low as $40 plus fee of course. THE PHONE WAS JUST BOUGHT BRAND NEW WITH A NEW LINE AND SUPPOSEDLY A NEW NUMBER. WHY IN HELL SHOULD ANYBODY PAY EXTRA TO ADD A NUMBER THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?!

Now they're trying to shove some kind of cricket unlock app. It's supposed to be usable only after a year of paid service. What is wrong with them? They have no right to shut off debugging services. It's none of their business.
