A Newbie's Opinion

OK.... Original Palm user, like old school - then windows mobile... just made the switch to Android...

ok ok.. it is a budget droid so I'm guessing I am missing a lot of features but as much as I am REALLY enjoying the droid OS I have to say -- I miss my old phone functionality!

I worked with CHEAP mobile phones for almost a year and even they came with calculators...

Droid is fun bc you can download apps til u burst, but REALLY?! I have to have a different app for EVERY function?!!!

I'm not a complete loss I have spent countless hours finding apps that can do multiple things like agenda apps but the learning curve and personal evaluation for each app can be painstaking and slow...

I find myself longing for the simplicity of function and the fun of apps that are JUST cool upgrades, extras and fun...

There... I said it. Don't hate me for it...:o

Give yourself some time to go through the learning curves when going from one OS to another. You can also go to the samsung intercept forum to learn more about your device and any help you need.Since this is new to you, don't add any apps for now.Learn the phone basic function and features first before you add anything,i'm sure a calculator is there without you having to download one.Be patient and enjoy..
