A place to index our own "work"?

SUroot

I have a couple of guides and FAQ's posted on this forum which I currently have some of in my signature.

Obviously there is not much room to fit everything in my signature. I would like to index the few I have somewhere so I can link to 1 place in my signature.

Initially I wanted to use Visitor messages, but it gets messy there is you allow it in CP (see mine currently ;) )

Creating a thread simply to post these in seems a bit narcissistic so I don't really want to do that, but I also don't want to link away from AF.

What are the plausible solutions I could put in place please? Any recommendations?

Many thanks

You're one of the best, most knowledgeable contributors here, SUroot.

I hope there is something that can be done along those lines you suggest.

Thanks Frisco.

I only have 4 things at this time which isn't many but its too many for signatures.

Something in the "about me" tab of the profile would be ideal. It doesn't even need to be fancy

On the visitor messages front, I believe those messages could be deleted by a mod so that you couldn't see them any more, if that helps.

Thanks. A mod did suggest that to me a while back but I just disabled them all together.

I have limited it to contacts and mods now, so that would be a great start if you would be happy to oblige please sir?

What about creating a thread to index it all and linking to that thread in your signature, and as you come up with me stuff.. edit it into that thread. ?

I did think about that and may do it as (if) I add more, but with the amount I have currently, I didn't want to waste space :)

EDIT> ok well a couple of people said the link I had to the Visitor message wasn't working (or they couldn't see the info / confusing) so did create a thread in the end.

Cheers folks.
