A question about the HTC Hero on 3 (Sim lock)

I want to buy a HTC Hero from 3 in the UK. I was just wondering if anyone knows if it comes with a sim lock on it or not?

If so, is there anyway of unlocking it by flashing something? Thanks a lot :)
