A question about Wildfire screen

Hi. I'm in the middle of my searching to buy an Android phone and HTC Wildfire is just perfect for me. but the main problem is the 240x320 resolution. I never had an Android phone so I don't have any information. I wanna know if Wildfire (with this resolution) could run every games and applications? I mean do they release games/apps for larger resolutions only? can you run a for example 480x800 or 320x480 games/apps on your Wildfire? I really need some information about its screen. thanks

When I read the reviews about the Wildfire one of them mentioned there could be limitations about which apps you could because of this issue, but to date every app I've loaded has run fine and I'm thinking it's mainly the more 'intense' games that may be more screen size aware perhaps?

Thanks. where can I see the list of all the Android games/apps? I want to know how many of them are in the 240x320.
On some sites, eg androidsoft4u, you can first select the phone model, then browse the apps and games for that phone.

Thanks to the Wildfire's huge popularity, more and more programmers make low res versions of their apps and games. Even Angry Birds is available for the Wildfire now (though I would never recommend that crappy game:-))

all devs will have to support the QVGA resolution well until after 2.3 Gingerbread as Gingerbread will be running on many QVGA phones.

There's a few apps that aren't running on QVGA yet, but most do. If it's not compatible, try emailing the developer, they might optimise their app better for QVGA. Hope this helps!
