A quick question about upgrading

Good evening all. I'm thinking about upgrading on Thursday, as that's when my contract is up. Currently my mom, dad, and I are all on an unlimited data family plan from before the cut off date. If I were upgrade my phone and be moved to a tiered pricing plan, would my mom and dad be forced onto tiered plans as well?


I'm guessing not, but I would rather make sure before I upgrade.

Do you each have the 29.99 unlimited data plans on your individual lines? If so, only the line that does the upgrade loses it. Otherwise, I'm not sure how that works.

Yep. I currently have the $30 unlimited plan. I knew I was going to lose it, but I just wanted to make are it won't affect my dads (the contract holder) or moms lines.

Your parents won't be forced to move to the shared plan if you upgrade. Especially since they are the account holder, while your just a user as it were.
