Help A Thank You and Another Quesion

I just wanted to send out a huge thank you to everyone who helped me out last week. I am the one who asked for the smart people. I just wanted to let everyone know the phone is working great because of you folks.

The only issued I rain into is that verizon wireless backup assistant is no longer there. Does anyone know a way to get verizon backup assistant back on my phone? I realize that you can transfer contacts from google, but I never did that before I rooted. So...the only may to get my contacts is through verizon's backup assistant.

I don't know what you had help with but assuming that you rooted and flashed a custom rom is the reason you are asking that......I had this issue and couldn't find the backup assistant apk..... The only way I know to do this is go to verizon backup page on your computer and login to your account......

you will see all of your contacts there is an option to select all do this and export the as a csv for outlook(someone correct me if im wrong on what it says).

Download the file and go to your gmail account on your computer -> contacts -> then import the file.....you will see all of you contacts imported there....

now go on your phone go to settings-> accounts-> then the gmail account you just uploaded the contacts to then click sync now.... it will update all the contacts to your phone.....
