Hello Friends..

what are the differences between Android 2.1 , 2.2 and 2.3??
How much does each Android version "improve" upon the previous one...???
Also please write the features of each version in some detail...

Very easy question you see for android lovers :):)

i am think of buying the Motorola Defy( only android 2.1) as it is rough and tough which i like...

Thanks in advance.

2.2 was the big jump, providing faster JIT coding, and flash. 2.3 doesnt really have any big updates, just minor ones.

You do know you can easily search Google and find this out right?

2.3 is for tablets, there aren't many major diffs between 2.2 and 2.3 but, its all relative to the device, carrier, UI and so on and so forth

Somebody is going to, so I might as well. :) 3.0 (Honeycomb) is currently for tablets. 2.3 (Gingerbread) is the last 2.x version release for handhelds before they make the jump to 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) which is intended to end the fragmentation between tablet and handheld versions.
