A way to shrink your ROMs.

I told some of you personally, but it should go in here too.

When we make our ROMs from source there are a bunch of extra compatablity part added in. This stuff is useful if we have to support several languages and screen resolutions. For my ROMs on the MT I know I am dealing with only English and an hdpi screen. So what I did was removed the other images and languages. This shrunk the installed space by almost 10MB. On the ICS ROMs this could be enough to make it work. On GB and FroYo it isn't that big of a deal. Anyway. I hope it helps.
 
You can shrink the size of your apks with batch optimization in the Apk Manager I posted

Shrinking your apks will give you a smaller Rom and more free space on your System partition

Edit: I know this only applies after you build the Rom but it works!
