Root A wild problem appeared!!

Hello all! Hope you are doing well.

I'm wondering if it would be wise to do a factory reset on a rooted phone running 2.3.3.

I'm having some trouble sending and receiving mms and figured this might help.

Also, I'm considering upgrading the firmware. I don't want to reinstall the original bootloader. I just don't see the point in running 2.3.3 any longer. How can I easily upgrade back to 2.3.4 or better?

I found a version of icecreamsandwich someone had ported to the DI2. Could I just throw this on the SD card and boot it using clockwork?

You would have to flash it. Nandroid first. I'm running EclipticSense.
