A520F [Root w/o data wipe?] | or [decrypt internal memory data dump] | picture recovery

Lurker
The problem is this: Samsung A5 Galaxy 2017 A520F Android 8.0.0 Oreo Stock ROM

Starting point:
I accidentally deleted important photos / screenshots.

I want to pull a data dump from the32 gb block device (dd or adb pull) to my PC.
This will hopefully rescue my deleted images by using Photorec.

Via twrp and adb I could already pull the mmcblk0 debice 32gb to my PC.

Problem: this seems Samsung encrypted.

Question:
Option a: does a possibility exist to decrypt this img file 32 GB on the PC? (Samung tools) Attention: I am the owner, I have all keys: Google Account, PIN, Wipe gesture. I am the owner.

Option b:
exists a way to get SU/root rights via twrp or other wg WITHOUT data wipe? Then I can try a SU dd dump to an external sd card during the stock rom is running and hopfully has the device somewhere mounted in a decrypted manner.

Are there any other options?

Thanks a lot.

if you have twrp, don't you have a nandroid backup you can just restore?

also i always recommend using google photos. it saves your photos directly to the cloud automatically. you can also set it to only backup when the phone connects to wifi. i have no worries about my photos if my phone craps out on me.

both not. no google photo, no nandroid. twrp just installed now.
I moved the pictures from the device to PC, than they lost.

ok if you have twrp that is one of the very first things you should always do is make a nandroid backup. it is one of the main purposes of having a nandroid backup.

i took the screenshots and pictures with the phone. Then I moved to the PC/USB-Stick. But lost it there finaly.

neverethe less:
Not completely deleted JPG file fragments on a file system can usually be recovered with the PhotoRec. This is my goal: to rescue the file system to the PC and run Photorec there.
