Help About:blank virus

I use chrome. It doesn't support flash though. Not needed it really. Always got stock as a backup

I realize this is an old thread, but I desperately need help. I believe part of the issue before in resolving this was that Doink was not explaining it clearly. I have my browser homepage set to Google. No matter what I do, when I open the browser, it opens on a new blank page. If there are previous pages still open, they are there, but there is a new blank page on top. If I have cleared all of the open pages, when I re open a browser, it opens on a blank page. I have cleaned everything, cleared everything, set and reset everything, including my homepage, as well as thoroughly cursing it out, all to no avail. I know it was not like this before. I'm wondering if it came with an update? Surely someone else is having this problem! BTW I am on a Samsung Galaxy s3, updated to Android 4.1 .2. Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm not sure about yours but my about:blank page will not close no matter how many times you hit the x. I literally have to hit the back symbol to get it to close. And it doesnt matter where you change the home page at, it still has blank page first.I'm on a Galaxy Note 4.1.2. So its not just not knowing how to change your settings.

the same thing happened to me. started yesterday. I tried everything but nothing worked until I remembered I downloaded a new theme for my phone. The only way this theme would work was with some installer app. I deleted the theme then deleted the installer app and no more about blank!
