Hi guys-
I've been reading quite a few reviews trying to sort out all the camera apps; I'm particularly interested in Time Lapse, HDR, and the new 360° view schemes mentioned, like Google Camera with Photosphere.
Has anyone fooled around with the various 360° view systems? I'm wondering if, once taken, they are usable on other devices like laptops...
Apparently I need a Cardboard viewer, as listed here
https://vr.google.com/cardboard/get-cardboard/
Except for price, do any have an advantage when used with a Turbo?
Any comments welcome!
Before I forget, one little OT but time-consuming mis-step; I bought a $5 Hype selfie stick from Walmart because the clampy part has a 1/4"x20 thread which should let it mount nicely on a standard tripod.
Unfortunately, its maw wouldn't open far enough to grab my Droid Turbo. Be fine for smaller devices, tho.
That width spec should be printed on the packaging of all such devices.
