About Launchers and homescreen

Hello, I've been using various launchers and currently I am staying with Evie launcher. Now, would my Cheap phone would perform better if I had a few apps on my home screen? I do have a slighty increased number of installed apps in my device although I keep only those that I'm using.. So here is my homescreen (I have only one widget, Aimp to Aimp's to be precise) and please give me advice on this.. Maybe should I sort everything neatly in folders on the homescreen instead?

Note the variuos home screen folders. Frerquently used apps for development are also there.

Launchers don't really increase device efficiency they just make the user experience easier. Putting shortcuts for most used apps where they're most convenient makes "you" more efficient.

But do these many apps shortcuts decrease performance?

No. App shortcuts use very little memory. Probably about the size of a one paragraph Word document saved on a Windows PC.
