About remote access (htcsense/apple/WP7/etc)

AFAIK the only Android maker that has free remote access is HTC with its HTCsense.com. Winphone7 has remote access. iphone too I think has remote access. Are there other makers offering free remote access?

Question: Is remote access dependent on the sim card installed on the phone or the IMEI no.? I asked this question at a vodafone store-and the person says its based on the sim and it uses your data plan-if you plan to remotely access it. So if someone steals your phone, switches the sim, then the remote access feature is useless. Unless its CDMA phone where you can't change the sim.

I suspect most stock security functions depends on the SIM. However, most phones allows to you activate a function that locks the phone as soon as the SIM is changed.

If you want remote access that is not dependent on the SIM, try apps like lookout security.

I'm guessing there are no phones yet on the market with fingerprint reader built in? Makes security a lot easier. I think I did see a phone like that at CES
