I used unrevoked 3 to root and i really only did it to use the wireless tether without having to pay sprint 30 a month. Now that im rooted,i dont have to do anything else right? It wont mess with my phone or anything? I can just use it like that regularly and use the wireless tether? Like i said thats all i rooted it for. I am upgrading to the evo 3d when it comes out anyway which is why i did it now..So i dont have to use a custom rom or anything and the phone will continue to work the same way?

You are correct, now that you're rooted you can tether. However, you need to download a wireless tether app from the market (the native hotspot app will not work). They are free.
I already downloaded the tether and have already tethered successfully.I just meant that i dont have to download any other things right? I can just use the phone as if it came out of the box..A root doesnt require me to use the things that you can use with it rooted like changing the screen and doing themes and flashing roms and all that cuz im not interested in that..Just wanna do the tether..it wont affect my 3G or service or anything....
