About to Root my S3 - Scared for some reason

Ok I've been hearing about the Rooter deal for some time now, ever since I had my S2.

I am one of the unfortunate users that have been plagued by the Copy/Paste apparently unfixable issue. I'm not performing a factory reset so the next best thing is to Root my device. I guess now I have a reason.

I just feel that somehow I'm going to break my phone... I know this isn't the reality... Just feels that way... LOL

I found an excellent tutorial on youtube that I'm about to dive into.

Fingers Crossed

Good luck, and as long as you follow a good guide you should be fine...

Just make sure to perform a factory reset after it is Rooted/Rom'd :)

What S3 model do you have? I can move this thread to the appropriate root section if you like

GT-I9300 - I survived!!!! - Yayyy I'm Rooted now... Whatever that means... lol

Now to fix that Copy/Paste issue... The battle continues

Didn't you just love that moment when the Samsung logo was seemingly hanging for way too long, and then it disappeared while making the start-up sound?
