aCar from Amazon App store

Hello folks,

I have some money lying in Amazon App store and I would like to use it up. I thought of getting aCar but noticed a review that Amazon DRM is with this app.

I wrote the developer 5 days ago but no reply so far.

Anyone got this app from Amazon app store and/or faced Amazon DRM issue with other app? Can you explain how this DRM bothers the user?

All apps from Amazon have DRM (Digital Rights Management) on them. The periodically check via the Amazon App Store app that you have purchased or otherwise legally obtained the app (FAOTD). I have never had problems with it myself except when I download an app, but don't open it for the first time without a connection to Amazon.

I've got several apps that I have purchased from the Amazon App Store. The DRM isn't an issue, but sometimes when an app is updated on the Google App Store it takes a while for the update to hit Amazon. It's not a big deal, but does happen (at least it used too.)

As for aCar, it is one of my favorite apps and well worth the cost. The Dev keeps it up to date and every time I have needed support, he has answered in just a day or two. Of course, that was back when you had to hit his site to validate the key and if you reset your phone without deactivating the license, he had to do it for you. Anyway, it is a great app.
