Accelerometer games??

I'm guessing there won't be very many at first. It's pretty difficult to design a game based on an accelerometer without having an actual phone.

There's only so much you can do on the emulator.
 
Yeah - that raises the point about the android market. I really think people will start getting a feel for the phone after around the first month or so. I think right now developers are still kind of biding their time, waiting for it all to sink in so they can test their apps, etc...
I don't know of too many mobile devices out there that have a lively developer scene from day one (or, as we reported today, day -2).
So I will reserve either being excited or bummed about the android market until a later date.
Until then...I want to try out Locale. It seems nutsss
 
I tried to download some of those OmniSoft games a few days ago and they didn't install properly but OmniSoft looks like they'll have a bunch of really nice games.

Bonsaid Blast uses the accelerometer but only a very, very limited amount. Still a good game IMHO.
 
This one game on the Android Market its a brain tester game BRAIN FRAME OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.. Lets you use the Accelerometer by making you tilt your phone left or right to rearange some cubes.. Its pretty cool Its the future.
 
Choking Charlie is a great game that uses the accelerometer... absolutely hilarious (make sure you have the sound on) and says there will be a multi-player. Definitely worth the buck.
 
Hello, where can I find good games for my Acer One, there are some who need not necessarily be as strong as my graphics card will not be right.
 
well there's not many

polarbit made great games with 3D graphix + Accelerometer control like Raging thunder,Wave blazer,Armagedon Squadron.There's a Labyrinth,Dot,and freebie app from schwartz...they developed some app that use accelerometer like light saber,AK47,shot gun,and Ruger Pistol...just shake your phone and it will make a sound heehee~~

i think there's more out there
 
One of my favorites is the iphone port of DOT. Its really cheap(under a dollar) and is crazy addictive. Cant understand why it only has 100 to 500 downloads. It was made by the same people that make mouth off( which is also crazy cheap)
 
Accelobrick is a fun game that uses the accelerometer. It is sort of a cross between a labyrinth style game and a brick breaker game.
