Accelerometer is SO. SLOW.

I've only found one old prior topic on this - wondering what the status of others' phones is nowadays.

My accelerometer for screen rotation is slow. I mean so slow it's pathetic. I'm using Fresh1.1

Anyone have any tips to maybe speed up rotation? And while I'm at it - the keyboard when my screen is rotated is also pathetically slow - so much so that it's not even worthwhile to try using it. Thoughts on this?

It's not something that makes me hate the phone, but would make me love it SO MUCH MORE if these two things were better....

I agree, the first rotation is slow, but after that it is faster. I really don't use landscape that much but it is slow. 2.1 should smooth it out (key word ...should).

You will read this and say "No way, that doesn't make sense."

Install Bubble and calibrate it. You phone will now rotate quicker.

Don't ask me why, and I had my phone calibrated before. But this noticed a difference.
