Help Access Info on Old Android Razr

I got a new phone a couple months ago, and I now realize there is some old calendar info on my old phone that I need for tax purposes. The old phone is charged, but the login screen was frozen, so I rebooted, and it stays on the red loading up thing, which is moving as if it is loading up. How can I get past this and access the calendar history?
