Help Accessing com.android.wallpaper on unrooted

nexdroid

Lurker
Howdy I have a live wallpapers app size 29 megabytes that I'd like to copy and use on my new Google Nexus. Problem is Root Explorer says the phone has
to be rooted to access /~com.android.wallpapers. Since I'm not wanting to root
the phone can I expect not to copy the file? I can't remember where the heck I downloaded it or I'd just download it again. So the question is can some app access the file location so I can copy it to /sd ?

in order for you to actually use root explorer you need to be rooted.

there are other file managers that you can use to explore files, but system files you will not be able to

Moved to Samsung Galaxy Nexus as it does pertain to a root question, however you are not intending to root, so i will move it to the main forum so that you will get answers from other non rooters
