While typing you should be prompted with alternative words above the keyboard:
Tapping one of those words will insert it in place of the word you're currently typing.
Tapping and holding will allow you to delete or unlearn the word from your dictionary.
Tapping the arrow on the far right drops down more alternatives
Tapping the arrow on the far left completes the word as is and moves to the next word
If you want your keyboards to better resemble how you type, jump into the keyboard settings in "Language and input" and adjust the Samsung Keyboard. Predictive text will learn from Messages, Facebook, Gmail, etc... if you connect your accounts. Some may see this as a privacy concern... I do not.
These are things on my Note 3 that I'm pretty sure carry over to the Note 4... but someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Just giving you somewhere to look/start!
Thanks for your reply. These things I all know. I used to be able to access the entire User Dictionary on my Galaxy S4, and I just can't figure out how to do it on the Note!
