No no, just read a couple posts up how the one person liked it! The dude at sprint tried to sell it to me two days ago and I was thinking 30 for an f'ing case... come on dude, I know the markup on this is probably extremely high... probably really costs $8 bucks..lol So i declined but he didn't tell me it had a stand but it did look nice as far as the finish and faux carbon fiber...

Looks like tonight I will pick it up if they have it. I gotta get SOEMTHIGN to protect the phone. I can't stand gel or soft cases...

If you are a Premier member (and unless you just moved to Sprint, you usually are), remember to use your 25% discount by buying two accessories. (Buy a cheap screen protector or something for your second accessory.)

I will apologize in that carbon fiber's basic form is pliable, not hard as I stated, which makes me wrong. You are wrong as well in that it typically is made of carbon, which is not man-made, and it most certainly is not dyed after it is woven.

This case that you are referring to is nothing more than hard plastic and CF-look vinyl.

It is a pretty nice case, fits well into it. My only concern is removing it. It fits so tightly in it that I'm afraid it will scratch the phone.

I just picked up the case.

It's nice. Definitely not super tight though on the phone. I've removed it from the phone about 9 times now with no scratching at all. Start with the volume side and it comes right off.

I do like the little kick stand but wish it "locked" into place but I guess that would be one more thing to wear out? Wish the kick stand was a tad wider as well.

Overall it's an ok case. Not worth 30 by anymeans. And I feel that the carbon fiber viynal will scratch easly. I can make a mark and depress it with my finger nail. I just hope it doesn't start peeling off the back of the case after some use and in and out of pockets..etc

oh wow, that really is a short kickstand. I was tempted to buy it but thankfully I came to my senses and bought the TPU matte black case for only $8.90, but I'd really like to have a nice kickstand case for watching netflix.

Edit: I really like the TPU matte black case, fits perfectly and easy to pull off and on, very satisfied with it, and looks very good
 
The TPU matte black case is back in stock with a limited quantity and shipping tomorrow according to their website. I just put in my order. You might want to do the same if you are looking for a case before they sell out again.

I decided on the smoke grey one, arriving around the 23rd. I dont typically like silicone or TPU cases but I'd like to have something for this monster of a phone. Hope it fits as well as everyone says it does.

Any car docks being released for this guy?! I sort of want the official one because its thin and light looking - pretty solid reviews on the international SGSIIs. I had a Seidio for my Evo and it worked okay but it was pretty bulky and didn't have enough ventilation around the phone so it got pretty hot - but it did allow for use with or without a case. I'm definitely missing my dock now! [and my kick stand]
 
I received my phone in the mail on the 21st and just got the case today. It's a two piece hard plastic case with a rubberized matte finish. It snaps together and fits the phone perfectly. It's very slim and doesn't add much bulk at all. I really like the feel of this. I feel much more confident that it won't slip out of my hands now. The volume and power buttons are uncovered but slightly recessed, and can be easily pressed. All other holes and ports are uncovered. Even though it's very slim, it prevents the front screen and the camera from touching the table when the phone is laying down on either side.

Starting with my htc hero, then evo and now Epic 4g touch, I always got all my accessories from ebay. Never had a problem. Silicone cases, spare batteries, car chargers, etc. I did buy a car mounting kit that probably came out to be $3 that was completely useless (it worked but rattled and just sucked). I'd say if the seller has a high rating, I wouldn't be too worried about spending $7. I still have my evo in a $2 or $3 silicone/tpu (unsure what it is) case I got on ebay.

Yeah please do. I saw a 5 pack of those exact cases (5 diff colors) for $10 on ebay but they ship from hong kong. 2+ weeks before it arrives. I went and ordered from TPU-cases because my e4gt comes on wednesday so hopefully i'll get my case by thursday.

Still, let us all know how that case works out. If well, i'll order one of those 5 packs for $10!

Will do, I missed seeing the 5 pack. I had ordered another tpu case case that arrived the day before my phone. But when I saw these couldn't pass for so little. Nice to be able to change the look of your phone. Especially since it looks like I'll have this phone for the next 20 months
