I heard there is an XDA thread for a poll for people wanting Spigen cases, that's more evidence of demand to present Spigen.

I'll reach out to Caseology as well.

I'll be interested in how your official case works. Apparently I'm getting a coupon for half off a case from the Google Store and am curious to hear reviews on them.

I find it disappointing these companies don't have cases planned, at the minimum. I can understanding waiting to produce them until after they are announced (to avoid things like the laser focus issue) but sad they aren't even considering it.
 
I agree. I have the Ultra Hybrid Spigen on my Nexus 6 and I love it. I may be wrong, but it seems the 6P will be at least if not more popular than the N6.

What about screen protectors? I usually have one on my phones, but I've never used a tempered glass protector like the ones i'm seeing on Amazon for the 6p. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
I have the Folio Case.

Good points - It fits VERY snugly, almost too snugly (its very difficult to get out). Previous case I have had for other phones without a very snug fit have allowed sand to get behind the phone scratching the aluminium.
The leather is lovely, has a great treated leather smell
The case naturally closes over the screen, but this could change, I'm always a bit suspicious of Folio cases that cant lock closed as it provides less protection if it flings open during a drop
The plastic protrudes slightly above the profile of the phone front, hopefully protecting it during a drop.

Bad points -
The leather stitching started to pull on mine after a week. Google immediately offered a refund with no need to return as soon as I complained however.
When flipped open during a call, the rear mic picks up tones of noise and this causes the volume of your voice to drop in a call this is very very annoying

I got the Navy Blue, but they have several other colors. I bought a similar Fintie case for a Lenovo Android tablet and have been pleased with it. This case has a nice fit and feel on the Nexus 6P.
 
Ordered the Spigen ruggedarmor case from amazon, should be here sometime this week. My g+ feed is also going crazy about the toast wooden skins. I'm on the fence about those still.
