Help Accidently got rid of thumbnails, how can I get them back, if I can at all???!!!??

I have es file managet and I accedently got rid of A LOT of my thumbnails and I am unable to pull up my pics and videos. Is there anything I can do to recover them???

Try Settings/Application manager/Gallery/Clear Cache

Open Gallery and it should recreate the thumbnails.

Didn't work, any other ideas? Also, I've forgoten my password to get into my app es file explorer, do you know anothet way to get in????
