Help Accounts & Sync Problem

Hey everyone, my phone has been pretty good for about almost a year now. I just was going to manually sync my google calendar like I normally do (as I do not have a data plan) and when I went into my setting and clicked on the accounts & sync the phone suddenly froze and appeared the start up android name across the screen and it restarted the phone. I've turned off the phone, turned it back on, still does it. I've taken out the battery and turned back on, still does it. I don't know what kind of problem this is, please someone help.

I say backup your apps and data, factory reset the phone (Shut down phone, hold vol down + Home + power), add your google account manually and try again... The problem with LG is all your calendar updates go in LG PC Sync for its suite, so make sure you're updating your google calendar. Keep in mind if you have any updates that were not synced, you will lose them. To keep those, maybe get a calendar backup app off the market to back your stuff up.
 
Thanks for the help, I was just about to do a factory reset. I decided to uninstall the last update I did which was the new dropbox update(the one with the camera sync update), and everything seems to be working fine now with my synching. Guess I don't get the service of dropbox on my phone til a new update, this sucks

Well I guess they'll fix the dropbox sync issues... I'd suggest contacting dropbox to explain that their new update does this. Otherwise, here, try this APK which is the old dropbox version (I haven't updated yet)

It'll download as a .zip, just rename to .apk and install on your phone with root explorer or adb install

Also, if you download Box which is a similar app to Dropbox, you get 50 gb of storage space for the life of your account (Just a head's up if dropbox still doesn't work)

Thanks, I've considered box to dropbox as out comes with more space for free. May I ask how you like it?
 
Haha ok no worries, I still might give it a go for the free storage. Thanks for your help and input on things!
 
Just signed up for Box.com. It is not as elegant as DropBox for syncing (I am still using version 1.2.4), but getting 50GB of free storage is pretty good. I will stick with dropbox for work and personal use (eg syncing with family or staff on files that we are mutually working on) and may use Box as just a large cloud backup storage.

Karender, which version of dropbox is in your apk?

It's version 2.01, last one before the latest update
