Accuweather widget not updating

Last week my Huawei Ascend P6 got updated to Kitkat 4.4.2 and since that update I have encountered many problems like one that my weather widget won't update anymore.
I tried wifi and mobile internet. Non of them update. Keeps updating and then says somekind a server error but still continues updating. I tried clearing weather data, also force stop but nothing seems to work.

What should I do? Get a new weather app on Play store?

Have you tried uninstalling Accuweather and reinstalling it?

Also go into Settings > Apps > Clear cache of Accuweather

I had this happen a while back and was told by email that it was a server issue. It took 24 hours til it would update.
