Hi ,

I have recently purchased galaxy ace that has 2.3.7 firmware , problem is it won't come up with window to enter unlock code (I presume cos of the firmware) are there other ways to enter unlock code or unlock or do I need to downgrade firmware ?

thanks anyone

Right , I have downgraded to 2.3.4 and all unlocked - was wanting to upgrade back 2.3.7 cyanogen - anyone know if the unlock will remain without any problems ,

also does anyone know where I can download a uk copy of standard 2.3.4 firmware - mine has a default russian game on it ??

If anyone is interested I have now downgraded to froyo 2.2 as 2.3.4 was not working with text on t mobile , and it was the only firmware I could find as a decent multi-file version - had trouble with single file versions , i would now like to try and find multi file version copy of 2.3.3 for uk

any one out there ??

cheers
