Acer Liquid E Covers?

Im wondering if you can buy Acer Liquid E covers on the back, to make it look stylish and protect it at all. Iv been looking every were. Not a sock or a pocket holder thing, i mean a case/cover kind of like the iPhones. Thanx :)
 
We've looked everywhere. We finally hit up a Fido store that said they didn't have any "yet" -- I then said "But you will?" and he said "Yes," in the affirmative, definitely not a maybe. So I guess the accessories are coming..

Funny thing is, I can't even find accessories from Acer themselves, so that guy might have been talking out of his... well. You know.

So far I've been able to find some random cases at places overseas, like this. That's a leather case more or less and that isn't what my husband (who owns the Liquid E) is looking for... he wants a bumper because he prefers to have the phone in his pants pocket and just wants to protect the edges. So far we've been unable to find anything like that.

If anyone else has come across any cases though, I'm all ears so I can get something workable for the husband!
 
I posted this in another thread, but Rogers Wireless has them for less than $20. The kiosk I was at only had red, but it is better than nothing (or waiting forever to get it from overseas). It is a pretty stiff silicone cover, and fits the phone perfectly.

Fido has matte screen protectors - package of 2 for $9.99
 
They're not available on the Rogers website, but here's a pic of my phone if that helps.

The case is from Rogers, and cost me somewhere around $14. The matte screen protectors are from the Fido store, and cost $9.99. Fido does not have cases for Liquid E yet.
 
They had clear, hard silicone skins at the Fido kiosk at the First Markham Place mall on Hwy 7 and Woodbine near the foodcourt. They were only $10. I haven't tried it on my phone yet, but the guy showed me how it looked on a demo unit and it looked fine. I wish they had other colours though, but this will do for now.
 
yes, the demo unit was a liquid e. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and it fits great. Had a couple of drops (not concrete) and not a scratch. I wish they had more colours though.
 
Do you remember what brand or what it was called? the picture kind-of looks like the one that is for the blackberry curve.
 
At what place in Metro Vancouver area were you able to find the covers ? I went to several Fido/Rogers stores and they had no covers.
 
I to am looking in Vancouver area for them.

So far I have checked China Town with no luck.

This weekend I will check out Crystal Mall (Burnaby) and let you know.

Can you list the areas you checked, so I will not go to those.

I have been looking for a cover ever since i got the phone. Every time i go into any malls i always stop at all of the booths and ask.

I was at Lougheed mall on the weekend and stopped at one of the booths to ask if they had the cover. The lady told me that she did not have any but would be getting some in the next few days. She also told me that the booth in Brentwood mall recently received some. I quickly drive over there and was able to pick one up for $18.99. There were only two left after i bought mine so i am not sure if they will have any more.

I am very happy with the case, it is similar to the image above however it is a black case not a red one.
 
Thanks for the tip Johnnycarrson .. I hiked on over to Brentwood after work today and got the last case ... she even gave me a $2.00 discount seeing it was the last one .. I asked if she will get more cases; she wasn't sure as the demand for it may not justify getting more ... if you guys are interested in checking the kiosk out from time to time, it's the cell phone case kiosk by Bootlegger and the Toys R Us Express ...
 
I am glad that you were able to pick one up. It seems odd that there is not a larger demand for the cases. Since it is one of the only andriod phones *officially* available.

How do you like the case so far?

It's great ... better than keeping it in that little black pouch that comes with the phone ...
